Bethel (The House Of God)

Malachi 4:5&6 - "Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."

Matthew 17:11 - "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things."

Revelation 3:14 - "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God:"

Revelation 10:7 - "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."

This message preached by Brother William Branham was introduced in Trinidad, the southern-most island of the Caribbean, in 1964 by an American evangelist whose mother was miraculously healed of malignant cancer of the breast by the prayer of Brother Branham. This evangelist was rejected by an organizational group in the north but was accepted by a handful of believers in Central Trinidad, of which some are now under the ministry of a God-called servant, Pastor Dalton Bruce.

The message was established with a church group, only after a pastor, D. Ojar, from Central Trinidad returned from the USA about 1966 or 1967. He had been met by Robert Lambert after he was ill-treated and cast out by a renegade church group. The message was introduced to him while sitting on a park bench stranded.

Pastor Lambert supported him spiritually and financially then and even after his return, especially to build the first message group. By this pastor's affiliation, Lambert was introduced to Pastor Bruce on his first visit to Trinidad. Pastor Ojar was disciplined before several ministers by Lambert, and did not receive it kindly. Message believers are misinformed about the teachings of Lambert, even up to date.

For the past thirty-five years, Bethel, through God's Grace, has maintained the original holiness standards of the message of Malachi 4. Ministers' moral lives are unchallengeable. Conduct and order of spiritual manifestations of believers are scriptural. The dressing of sisters is of the highest moral standard. Immorality in any form is unacceptable. Worldly styles of dressing for men or women, sports, television or any article of unholiness condemned by the prophet, are not tolerated. The Power of the Holy Spirit and His Presence are always amongst the saints. They are a praying people who practice the Word and message by love for God and not legalism.

Besides the hundreds of message believers who follow at Bethel, such Godly influence has established many message believers and several other churches located in the Caribbean, South America and United States, upon the same principles of holiness as preached by Brother Branham. This has produced the same result of the moving of the Spirit in a greater measure.

Bethel (The House Of God) started as a little prayer house in 1970, where many troubled souls of message believers, organizational church members and unsaved people found refuge by prayer, supplications, fasting and counsel from the man of God who had many supernatural experiences with God, and as a result, waited upon Him in consecration and dedication, spending long hours studying the Word and message of Brother Branham, God having introduced the message and the messenger, Brother Branham to him by a vision and His own audible Voice in the wilderness a few years before, having made a vow to God, to have a visitation from Him or die. Thus he fasted and prayed for many days, without food and water. His purpose was to understand what is truth. His desires were fulfilled in the message of Malachi 4:5&6, Revelation 10:7.

Bethel's original shack was situated in the midst of a poultry farm. Several found salvation, ministers were counseled, several false prophets were exposed, resulting in the deliverance of many souls. The man of God seldom left his home and prayer closet except when he went out to evangelize the message, establish believers and pastors, both locally and overseas, in the Word and message.

Pastor Robert Lambert came to 'Original Bethel' and imparted great light and understanding. He was introduced to message churches where he preached with dynamic power and revelation of the Word. He was accepted by some and rejected by many because of jealousy, hatred and malice. Many false rumors were imported from USA to discredit the precious servant of God. Such hatred was later manifested by Cain's seed in his martyrdom, of which he had prophesied several years before it was fulfilled in 1973.

The establishment of Bethel (The House Of God) is attributed to him as the founder, because of the great enlightenment of the ministry and mission of Malachi 4. He established and we fully believe that Brother Branham was a type of Moses, who was sent to lead the end-time Church to the promised land, which is a type of another Outpouring of the Holy Spirit like the day of Pentecost.
The measure of the Holy spirit that message believers now possess is insufficient to translate their mortal bodies. We always believed that the seven thunders is the revelation of the second coming of Jesus Christ, which will be broken to the public about the time of the Rapture, and that all message believers are obliged to go on with the same plain message as commanded by Brother Branham.

We are fully established upon all the fundamental doctrines of the Bible and are built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets. We endorse, believe, preach and fully establish without compromise the message of Malachi 4, sent unto us by the Lord Jesus Christ. The Holiness message as detailed and established by the Prophet, conduct, order and doctrines we hold in high esteem and practice to the letter.

We oppose strongly, without favor, the perversions of several major doctrines of the message. We also exposed such perversions as damnable heresies in several books which are obtainable through our internet and postal services. There is a remarkable difference between us and other message believers. We believe as all the message world once believed, that the seventh seal/seven thunders were not revealed in 1963, and we refuse to believe that some spiritual person caught where Brother Branham mysteriously hid it in his messages. This is upon the basis that the revelation of the seven thunders was according to his own words, in an unknown language which Brother Branham could not interpret.

Our questions to the message world, who claims the seven thunders, are:- "When? Where? and on what tape message did Brother Branham preach or indicate that the unknown language was revealed to him, and that message believers should now disregard his warnings at the opening of the seals, that they should not interpret the seventh seal or make an ism of it since it is not revealed." Ref. (The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, pages 458-461 Q&A & pages 557-575)

Because of these convictions that we are established upon, we are hated, despised and rejected as outcasts of the message. We have few open doors, but we hereby declare that we love, respect and stand in defense of all message believers who believe this message, although they bitterly disagree with our teachings and consider us as unbelievers in the thunders.

We further declare, that we believe in the thunders for rapturing faith and all that is supposed to be accomplished by that great revelation, but we refuse to accept, believe and preach what is projected as the seven thunders by private interpretations of the false anointed ones. AMEN!

It was Brother Branham's desire to go through the teachings of the seals again. " Just got through with those seven seals, just recently. I'd like to go through them again." (World. Again. Falling. Apart. 63-1127). We embraced that opportunity which time did not afford our beloved prophet. A rehearsal of the seven seals messages used to take place in the early years after Brother Branham's departure at the Branham tabernacle, in the form of tape messages. But only a few churches do so today.

Bethel church have done so for the past thirteen years and have won many souls to the Lord from different religions and walks of life. Another grand occasion was the fourteenth annual open book memorial services, seventeenth to the twenty-fourth of March 2002, held at Bethel the House of God, Freeport Trinidad W.I. The meetings commenced on Sunday morning 17th with the sound of many trumpets and other musical accompaniments, songs of praise, worship and dances , and general opening remarks praising and glorifying God for the greatest event of the twentieth century which happened in 1963,"the opening of the seals," by the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, through his prophet Brother William Branham, who is the literal fulfillment of Malachi 4: 5:6, Rev 3:14, 10: 7.

The occasion was not the opening of the seals, but a memorial and thanksgiving for the opening of the seals, a rehearsal of the great truths, which were proclaimed in 1963, to remind message believers, inform 'believing' children, and also to make known to Hindus, Muslims, Catholics and other organizational members, of the great event.
In attendance were message believers from North and South America and the Caribbean Islands, Tobago, Grenada, and St. Vincent. Various ministers and pastors were engaged in this most wonderful and edifying exercise as they each rehearsed one of the six seals. Message believers each night, rejoiced in unity, love and harmony on doctrinal teachings of Brother Branham concerning the first six seals.

Sunday morning 24th March 2002 marked a different kind of meeting, since the subject on the seventh seal / seven thunders was to be preached. As all are aware, it is a controversial subject, which has greatly divided message believers, internationally, since 1973, the majority proclaiming that it was revealed by Brother Branham in 1963, and a smaller group attesting that it was not revealed. Both schools of thoughts being present, and the host pastor determined to maintain the same unity, peace, and harmony, which prevailed in the previous days of meetings, was placed in a very odd position and all mused in their hearts and wondered how he would handle such a situation. Then he simply came forward to the pulpit and announced that he was not on the war-path this morning, but will allow Brother Branham to speak to all his children. All major quotations pertinent to the seventh seal from 1962 to 1965 were boldly proclaimed in an anointed manner and the decision left to all believers to understand by the Spirit, what the prophet preached and believed concerning the seventh seal.

The facts, taken from the seventh seal to the end of Brother Branham's life in 1965, totaled about forty. However he boldly stated upon the presentation of such irrefutable facts the school of thought, which brother Branham was identified with, and also identified himself with that same school. He avoided offences to the congregation by not asking them which of the two schools are they identified with. Not desiring to speak too much about the second school, he stopped after about three hours, for new converts to be baptized and also performed a wedding ceremony. Peace and harmony did prevail, and a great feast followed, and all dined in love, peace and harmony without arguments or gain-sayings.

The host pastor returned on 31 March 2002 and continued on the subject "seventh seal misinterpreted". Emphasis was laid upon the second school of thought since there were none present, who belonged to that school. A great historical background of the inauguration of the second school was given, by undeniable proofs. Many witnesses were called upon, who confirmed the same as truth. Many sat in awe, fear, and trembling, as they understood for the first time the origination, principal, teachers, and syllabus of that school.

Another message was preached on Wednesday, 10 April 2002. The contents are of vital importance to every minister and message believer, since it dealt with Seventh Seal/Seven Thunders perversions by the second school of thought. The preacher went into details, and showed by the statements of Brother Branham, what the seven thunders are supposed to produce, and carefully compared it with the production of the second school of thought.

Book number five entitled "Exposition Of Damnable Heresies Seventh Seal/Seven Thunders"(EODH) (two schools of thoughts), is a documentation of the subjects of "The facts of the seventh seal", "The seventh seal / seven thunders misinterpreted", and "Seventh seal / seven thunders perversions". Included are letters revealing conflicts of doctrines between both schools of thoughts. We write with the hope, that these subjects put together will help our readers to understand for themselves, which school of thought is ordained of God and which Brother Branham established in 1963, and supported until the time of his departure. We also hope that this work will afford message believers to examine the school that they are identified with, and quickly change their position if they are in the wrong school.
